Welcome to come to my reading new article. This article tells us about Sarnath Museum. And you get the full knowledge about Museum. Sarnath Museum is the only place where we know the history of the Lord Buddha. It’s very popular in the whole world. It keeps all types of sculptures, pictures, and much more things. It’s one of the oldest museums of the Archaeological Survey of India. This also working on findings and excavations in Sarnath for the Archaeological Survey of India. It is 10 km far from the Varanasi Railway Junction (Varanasi Cantt). It is located in Varanasi city in Uttar Pradesh, India. This museum has about 7,000 sculptures and artifacts.
Short History:
This was built in 1904 to keep the antiquities found from the site. The old-time current government has constructed a site for excavated from Sarnath place. the Director-General of Archeology in India Sir John Marshall has constructed this place. The museum plans were ready by Mr. James Ramson (the Architect to the Government of India). Its building was fully ready in 1910 for studying and displaying the antiquities of Sarnath Place.
